The story
On a stretch of fortified coastline its inhabitants call Wave Breaker, territory is held only as long as the wire keeps the ocean, and the enemy, at bay. Early on, a wounded tank refuses to die and keeps killing from wherever it goes.
A death screen freezes the moment that starts a season-long suspicion: not one rival in the match, but two. Sluggie and CollegeFuture, driving identical tanks, in the same match, on the same afternoon.
The tally, kept aloud in real time, turns against the squad, and the verdict is spoken plainly: it's College Future, and now he's my nemesis.
By now the squad has built a loadout for no purpose other than countering the pair together, as if they were one animal. Whether Sluggie and CollegeFuture are really working together is unproven. The squad no longer believes in coincidence.
