The story
Sunken Dragon, a city of towers above the water. On one night here the draft delivers a surprise: on the family's own side of the scoreboard, Sluggie in first place and CollegeFuture in fourth. Tonight the nemeses are teammates. Nobody is comfortable. The family wins, 310 to none.
Another night, the same city, and this time the draft goes the other way. Sluggie strikes first, twice in a single breath: our guide, then Imminent Tass. Then CollegeFuture joins the hunt, and the losses pile up.
In the middle of it, Imminent Tass puts Sluggie down with a single rifle shot, and later the same rifle finds CollegeFuture. Two nemeses, two shots. By now the family has a theory: Gamer For Life, Sluggie and CollegeFuture hunt as one squad. CollegeFuture ends the night three kills to none on our guide.
And yet on the only scoreboard that counts, the family's side wins, 487 to none. Our guide finishes on eleven kills and fourteen deaths. Sluggie finishes on forty-six and eight. With the nemeses beside them the family won; against them, it lost every duel and still won the war.
